WHAT IS Healthy Quin Counties?

Healthy Quin Counties has been protecting, maintaining, and improving the health of Northwest Minnesota County residents since 1978. It is the center for Kittson, Marshall, Pennington, Red Lake, and Roseau counties public health.

Healthy Quin Counties is responsible of

  • Administrating Public Health Funds
  • Women’s Infants and Children Program
  • Statewide Health Improvement Program 

Public Health provides a broad range of health services to individuals, families, and communities to promote health and prevent illness. Family health, child and teen check-ups, immunizations, disease prevention & control, emergency preparedness, and more are a few examples of what public health offers.

WIC is a nutrition and breastfeeding program
that helps eligible pregnant women, new mothers,
babies and young children.

SHIP supports community-driven solutions
to eliminate obstacles for active-living, healthy eating,
and freedom from commercial tobacco hazards.
